Welcome to the ReCentGlobe
The Leipzig Research Centre Global Dynamics is a central institution of Leipzig University. ReCentGlobe is a broad interdisciplinary cooperation dedicated to the study of globalisation projects in the past and present. More than 200 staff members work at the centre.
Research
Our centre conducts basic research on historical and contemporary globalisation projects. It offers practitioners and policy-makers a wide range of knowledge and advice on how to deal with social crises.
Graduate School
Labs
In order to promote interdisciplinary cooperation, ReCentGlobe provides its research areas with an infrastructure that can be shared by all. The infrastructure is grouped in three labs for transregional cooperation, digital methods and knowledge transfer.
Publications
ReCentGlobe publishes books, journals and e-journals for the general public.

The ReCentGlobe office is located in the heart of Leipzig in the Strohsackpassage between Nikolaistraße and Ritterstraße. From the main railway station or Augustusplatz you can reach us on foot in a few minutes.
