Abstract
Enrico Behne is a PhD student at the Graduate School Global and Area Studies at the University of Leipzig. Since 2023, he has been a research fellow at the Global and European Studies Institute (GESI) and was previously coordinator of the DAAD-funded project "IP Digital" at GESI. He is also a conflict analyst at the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research. His research profile includes peace and conflict in Africa, conflict prevention and peacebuilding, and international organizations, especially the African Union. His dissertation examines organizational change in the African Union Commission. He studied Anthropology, African Studies and Peace and Security Studies at the University of Leipzig and the Institute for Peace and Security Studies in Addis Ababa.
