Abstract
Dennis Dierks studied History as well as Islamic, Turkic, and Slavonic Studies at the Universities of Mainz, Dijon, and Vienna and received my PhD at the University of Jena in 2014. Before joining the Department of History in Leipzig in 2022, he was a research associate at the Leibniz Institute for European History in Mainz from 2009 to 2011 and at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena from 2011 to 2021.
